Michael Chandlee is the second generation of a family four generations (His Father, himself, his son and grandson) in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. Now, a Corporate Technical Trainer for the Goodman/Amana residential product lines, Michael travels the country training Contractors & Distributors in the proper procedures for installation and repair of our products.
Michael holds a firm belief that there is only one way to perform any task and that is the “Right” way. His motto is: “If don’t have the time to do it right…When will you find the time to do it over?”. Michael loves teaching, having spent over 20 years in the Tennessee College of Technology systems teaching HVACR. Growing up in the family business, he is currently in his 51st year in this industry.
He holds multiple certifications in the industry including HVAC Excellence Master Technician certifications in Electrical, Heat Pump, Air Conditioning, Combustion Analysis, and Carbon Monoxide Safety. He is a member the Refrigeration Service Engineer’s Society, the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, and the Council of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Educators.
He is North American Technician Excellence certified in 16 areas of expertise including Heat Pump Service, Gas Furnace Service, Oil Furnace service, Gas hydronics, Oil Hydronics, Air Distribution Service and Commercial Refrigeration Service to name a few. Michael is also a member of the National Fire Protection Association. He has owned and operated three Mechanical Companies through the years … one in Lawrence KS, one in Tampa FL and another in Memphis TN.

Michael currently resides in Fayetteville Tennessee with his wife of 47 years, Denise. He has two children, 4 grandchildren and one great grandson. In his spare time (HA!), he enjoys building cars, motorcycles, and attending local football and baseball games (GO FALCONS!)
